I believe that supervision is…..
Supervision is working “with” someone, not “doing to,” to someone.
I believe that supervision is a constant learning experience. Like teaching, there are no two days that end up the same. You need to be flexible and confident, as well as a life-long learner. It’s an experience…..
Supervision is more of an art vesrus a job. It’s a artform with the combination of grace, formality, firmness, and laughter. Some of the hats that have to be worn include coach, police chief, mom/dad, advocate, and grandma (for that warm hug you need after you recieved an ass-kicking.)
I believe that Supervision is collaborative.
I believe that supervision should serve as a resource for teachers and staff and should provide them with positive and meaningful assistance methods in order to effectively instruct our students.
Supervision is a “super” “vision”. Some who is a supervisor should have a super vision and provide the guidance and leadership to motivate people in order to make that vision happen.
Supervison can be defined as the ability to lead through guidance and example.
a method of overseeing others by sharing a common vision and goal and to serve as a facilitator and motivator!
I believe that supervision is the support / guidance / collaboration… that is provided to facilitate continued professional and personal growth in order to enhance student learning. Supervision should assist staff in meeting targeted objectives in the evaluation process.
Supervision is a school leader position that allows you to facilitate effective instruction through communication with teachers.
I believe that supervision give you a chance to use your leadership skills.
Supervision about leading through a vision and guiding others to success.
I believe that supervision is the art of demonstrating good leadership by modeling the expectation to those you lead.
I believe a supervisor is a teacher with exceptional ability to lead and assist others. Their job is to encourage and assist teachers to rise to their fullest potential. They ensure that best practices and CCS are upheld.
I believe that supervision provides the opportunity to articulate a vision for a learning community and to support the achievement of the vision through frequent, supportive, positive contact with the members of the learning community.
Supervision is the process of listening, guiding, and coaching. It infers having a shared vision with the intent of bringing the peiople to successin their vision.
